TERMS & CONDITIONS

Definitions

- “ACK” refers to the car detailing business providing the services (being ACK Auto Detailing).

- “Customer” refers to the individual or business booking the service.

- “Vehicle” refers to the car or other vehicle being serviced.

- “Services” refers to any detailing, cleaning, or related work carried out by ACK.

Bookings & Cancellations

- Bookings are confirmed once the Customer receives written or electronic confirmation.

- ACK reserves the right to request a deposit for certain services.

- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.

- ACK may cancel or reschedule a booking due to weather, staff illness, or other operational reasons.

Payment Terms

- Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

- ACK accepts cash or bank transfer. An invoice can be provided if required.

- Late payments may incur additional charges.

Condition of Vehicle

- The Customer must disclose any known defects, damage, or issues with the Vehicle prior to the service commencing.

- Excessive dirt, pet hair, mould, or biohazards may incur additional charges.

- ACK reserves the right to refuse service if the Vehicle poses a health or safety risk.

Damage & Liability

- ACK will take all reasonable care when working on the Vehicle.

- ACK is not liable for:

Pre‑existing damage, defects, or wear and tear

Items left inside the Vehicle

Damage caused by faulty parts, poor condition, or aftermarket modifications

- Any claim for damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.

Mobile Detailing

- The Customer must provide safe, legal, and accessible working space for mobile services.

- ACK may refuse to work in unsafe or unsuitable conditions (e.g., poor weather, restricted access).

Products & Warranty

- All products used are industry‑standard and suitable for automotive use.

- ACK does not guarantee results where the Vehicle’s condition limits achievable outcomes.

- Any warranties on coatings or treatments apply only when aftercare instructions are followed.

Photography & Marketing

- ACK may take before/after photos for quality control and marketing purposes.

- Customers may opt out by notifying ACK before the service begins.

Personal Items & Valuables

- Customers must remove valuables from the Vehicle before the service.

- ACK is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left inside the Vehicle.

Complaints

- Any concerns must be raised within 24 hours of service completion.

- ACK will make reasonable efforts to resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Governing Law

- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
